how accurate is Mears taxi fare estimator?

Just wondering if the Mears estimate of $35 for taxi from wdw to universal is on target or low?

I would plan on spending more like $45 to $50, including the tip.

Seems low - our fare was $52.00 from Hard Rock to the Dolphin in April.

I don't know the area so I asked the bellman who got us the cab at the HR what the approx fare should be and he said, in front of the taxi driver, around $50.00.
