How about this for those w/ unactivated APs and who would not use UMP?

Book the package for one adult and then buy the type of passes you will need for the others. For those w/ unactivated APs, you can activate all but one and save the other, sell it on eBay or find some other use for it. You'll still at least some savings on the hotel. For those who would not be enjoying the parks every day, yyou still get savings. You just have a pass for one person you may not need all the time. Could this help anybody?

I am the only one in my family with an AP. If my DH books this new Fairy Tale package, he'll have the discount for the room (right?).

Will they charge additional for my stay in the room?

Then he would have his pass taken care of, too, with the package and the ultimate park hopper.

And I would just use my AP for admission. Right? Is that doing anything wrong? Would it be okay to do this?

Sorry to be a downer, but for a package, everyone in the room has to have the package.

MJames41 is right. You can purchase UPH's at your resort for those in your group who don't have AP's, but no packages and no advance purchases. :(
