How about this ADR story!

DW and I just booked a last miute trip due to her taking new job in middle of May. Are going April 30-May 7. So I called Thursday pretty much knowing getting LeCellier was a long shot, was told nothing available for 2 people entire trip.Tried again Friday and Saturday and told same. Yesterday did the same except this time asked for May 4th and said # was 3 becuase Father is driving over for the Day. Even laughed while telling nice CM that I know its not going to happen. All of the sudden she laughs and says I have 12:30, 12:40, 12:50,1:10 , and 1:20 available. I was speechless for a few seconds. I quickly took a 12:50 and asked her what gives. She told me there are only so many 2 person tables available and said it would be best for me to try next table up (4 people) and just show with 2 and say other 2 not coming, becuase I am guarenteed a table.
