Was up to Disney again from June 3 through 7...so here are a few of my latest batch from AK:

One of the cutest things you'll see - one of the gorillas recently had a baby, and she was good enough to sit right along the glass with it while she napped, and the baby was on its back trying to figure out how to sit up:

I think this was an oryx...on the Kilimanjaro ride:

Keeping with the baby theme...baby giraffe:

One of those big crocs on Kilimanjaro, under the bridge:

This was a kudu I believe...he had been standing in the road blocking our way for a while, and finally moved aside to let the truck pass...though barely!:

Since I'm currently obsessed with the Finding Nemo musical soundtrack, here are some pics I took of the musical in 2008. I'm definitely going to try to take more this year. :hyper:

I love the look on the actor playing Marlin's face.

Justin, love your photos! Just thought I would let you know its a Bongo, not a Kudu :)

Thanks! I wasn't sure. Funny enough, I've got another Kudu shot - but this one looked like a different color and he threw me off trying to remember the name of it.

2008 was the first time I'd ever actually seen a meerkat and I took a million pictures of them. Since then it's been a running joke that I have to take forever taking pictures of meerkats whenever I see them. (Though I don't usually.)

The second time we went on the safari (again in 2008) we had the best guide ever. He was very entertaining, informative and provided one heck of a memory when we turned the corner and "CRAP!". He quickly apologized for yelling "crap", but he had been startled when he realized we were literally within spitting distance of a group of rhinos. He stayed long enough for people to get a couple of pictures before hightailing it out of there.
