Hi everyone!!! We are going to be at POP (I guess you'd say we'll be poppin' lol) May 15-19. Does that mean we will miss big crowds due to the flower show/star wars thing? I sure hope so! Anyone else going during this time? This will be our first trip to Disney together, and first in 11 years for both of us.

Our plan in case anyone is interested...

Sun AK 9-7
'Ohana 9pm
Mon DHS 9-10
50s prime time 1:10
Tues Epcot 8-9
Wed MK 8-11

Somewhere in there we would also like to check out DTD for a few hours. Yikes! I am super excited though!

Since this is my first time planning, if there are any tips anyone thinks we should know....feel free to share!

Aw thanks, yes all alone; its not my 1st solo vacation though. I never get lonely esp at Disney world. If you see me( 6ft 200pds shorter light brown hair) just yell mike or sawhiskey to me. I love meeting new people and have done meet ups with people all over the world. Have a great vacation!!

Just booked Pop this morning. Going May14-20th. So excited. First time going it will be me, dh, ds11 and dd8. It will be a total surprise for the kids might tell them when we are on the plane heading down there.

Well be at POP May 18-23. This is our 1st trip back since our honeymoon in '05, so we're super excited. It was kind of a last minute (for me) trip, we only decided to go last month and I just finished booking the trip this week.

I am heartbroken. Have my trip planned, ADR's, boat cruise , wishes, park layout everything!!!! Got laid off Wednesday. Now I'm back to doing mortgages, commission only. We were planning to be at the POP for 10 days. Just my daughter and myself ( she turns 16 in two weeks ). We havent been in 5 years ( so she barely remembers it ). I am stressed and depressed. Both of us were really looking forward to going and it's probably one of the last times that she will want to go on a vacation with Mom. I think I have until either the end of March or the middle of April to complete payment.
For all you praying people, please add me to you list as a struggle with making the right decision in light of the new financial status that we are in.

Sorry to hear this...many, many hugs and prayers coming your way...it has been a tough year for us too...my DH (a CPA) and primary bread winner was out of work a couple of months last year and we are still playing catch up but hope to keep our May trip in tact for our DD17 graduation trip...Our DD19 had a grad trip and we don't want her to miss out. Hope something comes your way soon!

May 27th through June 5th here! Staying at All Star Movies and super excited! Only my second trip staying on property, and DH, and DD9's second trip to the big D ever! I'm sooo excited. 83 days or so now.... The only thing I worry about is the weather in June. Hopefully it doesn't rain, hurricane, or storm too much. How disappointing that would be.

I can't wait. I have been wanting to go for years. Was last there in '96 for a High School Band Trip. Now my children are old enough (i would hope) at 5 and 7 to remember it. Going May 7th - 14th and staying at the CBR. Can't wait. I look at pictures and daydream every day now. Now if only my family will keep up with me when we are there.

We'll be at POR, May 15-26. There'll be 7 of us: me, DH, our 3 kids, and MIL & FIL. We've been once before, 5 years ago, and I was just along for the ride. This time I'm gung-ho with planning, trying to be prepared so we can make the most of our time.
