How about early May?

Is early-mid May a good time for a Disney visit? Is spring break over by then?

We've ALWAYS gone in Sept/Oct in the past so thats the only comparison to anything we know.

Another option for us would be Late Feb or early March.Experiences?

I've gone early to mid May the past 5 years and it's great. Crowds are on the low side. The weather can be hot, I've seen 90 to 95 but not as humid as summer/fall. Last year was great, only mid-80's. Very little rain. The first week is a little iffy this year, the new celebration starts on May 5th, there is supposed to be a media event, which may mean a park closing early. I'm going the second week this year, arriving the day before Mother's Day.

We have been twice in May and 8 times in Sept.
Sept is definately slower/less crowds. but...the weather in May makes it great. No rain, or I should say, not a lot of rain. one time we only had sprinkles, thats it. whereas we have been in 2 hurricanes in Sept and Lots of rain !!! that said I would still go in Sept in a minute.

Last May 1-8th we had fairly cool weather with a couple days in the 70's. We bought light jackets to wear. Our May trip the year before was all 80's and not one drop of rain.
The crowds are still light compared to many other times of the year but we still used FP once in a while. This last May was more crowded than before but it was still very manageable and not anything like Summer crowds.

Ok, I had to answer since this year we are going BOTH early march and early May. We are a little nuts, we already had the March trip planned for a while, then DVC got this whole AP discount and we got some airline vouchers for tickets, so we kind of have too.

I can let you know later.

So far what I know is both times are good, but you are more likely to have more warm sunny weather in May. Also it apears the rates are better. They take advatage of the poor northners that really want to get away in March.
