I was wondering why Mickey_Maniac's National rate was so much better than I could get, so I checked different dates and the rate jumps sometime on 12/24. The weekly rate for a full size jumps from 158.99 to 209, and the additional daily rate goes from 26.50 to 34.83. Our dates are 12/15 to 12/25, bummer! I'm hoping the rates will go down but with the holidays, I'm doubtful.

Due to the fact that I'm using a debit card rather than a cc, I'm limited in my choice of car rental agencies.

So far - through Alamo - the best I have been able to do for Dec. 2 - 7 for a compact car is $168.73 - and that's WITH codes! Can anyone help me do better than that? Seems awfully high for a compact..

cm told me the best rates are not at airport. So I checked Alamo nearest our hotel . We will be picked up at airport , so no need big car . I did want car so we can check all hotels decorations . Does anyone know anything about the tour you can purchase of the decorations at the resorts? We will be there 12/15 thru 12/29. Any special ideas for a bday for dd7yr old on 12/26 ? Also what about the big guy in red? Does he Deliver at each hotel? This is VERY important info! Aloha
