After dinner we headed off to do Turtle Talk with Crush as a show was starting within the next 5 minutes! We quickly decided to do this one instead of trying to wait for the next one!
Last time, we were like the first people in line. Not so much this time...but it was still awesome as ever!
Corbin sat on the floor with the other kids and I sat down with Carter so he could sit with the other kids too and wouldn't be afraid of the dark.
Before too long, Crush came out to meet everyone!
Corbin didn't get picked to talk to Crush-probably good because I don't think he would have....but a "Happy Birthday Dude" from Crush would have been really cool!
We left the show and all Carter kept saying was "Rush! Duuuuuuuuude!". It was so stinkin adorable!! To this day, if you ask him what Crush says, it's still "Duuuuuuuuuude".
Then we headed out and over to get a couple of pictures with Nemo before hitting his ride. Carter was in heaven here. He just stood there for a minute when Dan put him up there.
Once he came back to us, he just kept saying "Shishes" and pointing at them. Dan finally convinced him to touch one and that was the biggest thrill of the trip for him I think!
After that we headed in and Corbin spotted the dolphins before we could get him on the ride. We stood for a minute and watched them since we needed to ride the Nemo ride and still had to get to Soarin for Grandma.
After dolphin watching, we got into our clam-mobiles and started our adventure under the seas! This was mommy's quiet moment for the day-Corbin rode with Grandma and Carter rode with Daddy so mommy got like 1 minute to peace!
We stopped for a couple of pictures in the shark mouth after the ride.
Next we headed over to Soarin. The wait was incredible-like two hours and Dan and his mom said they didn't want to wait that long for a ride (ya think???). A wonderful man gave them his fast passes that they weren't going to be able to use and they were for RIGHT NOW!!!
They decided to ride then since they could get right in line. The CM wouldn't let Carter ride so I said I would wait with him. Corbin went with Dan and Grandma but the entire time he was yelling that he had to go potty since he didn't want to be in line! Smart kid!
Well, Carter and I waited....and we waited.....and we waited a bit more.
Finally the cake must have hit my stomach and we spent the rest of our waiting time in the bathroom pretty much.
They got off the ride and Corbin was screaming and crying and telling them how mean they were and he was *so* mad at them! All I could do was laugh at that point. I think it was a mix of exhaustion and everything else. Even Dan's mom had a look of "please make him stop!" on her face!
I took him to the bathroom since he told me he still had to go. Since I'd read a little bit about the ride, I started to ask him what he saw. He didn't answer so I started asking him about things I'd read...."did you see orange trees?" "yes they were pretty cool". The more I talked to him, the more and more he told me about it and was just ticked off because I didn't go and they made him ride it.
We finished up in the bathroom and went out to find everyone else. Corbin quickly told them all how upset he was with each of them and he wasn't going with them any more!
We decided it was time to head home since Grandma had gotten to do what she wanted and still wanted to go to DTD. With Corbin's recent attitude turn, everyone agreed this was best!
I took the boys back to the room after Dan dropped us off back at the hotel. He and his mom headed over to DTD to do some shopping. I put the boys to bed and went to sleep myself. I have no clue when they got back to the room!!
