Housing?

Hi, I was doing the Spring Advantage CP this year but had to leave due to health reasons. Now i'm going back to college but i'd really like to give the program another shot when i'm done with college. I may even apply for a Professional internship. One thing i'd do different next time is try to get my own housing. Can you do that on either program? I think it would be almost essential for me to do well on the program for several reasons. Thanks for any info!

I can't speak for the WDW program, though I'd bet money you're required to live in Disney housing. As for California's DL program, you do have the ability to find your own housing or live in the apartment complexes provided. From what I understand, though, in California, cost of living is pricey, and you're not guaranteed hours like you are in Florida.

If you do a PI you can live outside of Disney Housing cause I am in that situation right now. When I did the CP back in 02 I knew people that didn't live in housing they lived off site. Don't know if that is the same now.

You are allow to get your own housing for the CP. You just have to be approve for it and give a good reason on why you want your own housing. I know a few people who are doing the CP this fall and is getting their own housing.
