Are you seeing any appreciation in your housing markets??? It's kind of odd what has been happening here. The first time buyer credit has expired, but there seem to be more buyers not less.
The units in my building seem to be selling for about $50-60,000 more than in the spring. Some friends that spent almost a year looking finally bought. Now similar houses are selling at almost $75,000 more. It's definitely a nice jump.
I live on the streetcar line, have mansions across the street, and don't have a lot of competition. Also I am on the parade route and am fairly high up. I am not complaining.
Most of my life I've bought high and sold low so this is kind of new for me.
