Housekeeping

Hello all.

We are staying on cash for two nights in October at Boardwalk Villas. My question is, do we get housekeeping since we are on a cash reservation and not points? Thanks! Any other general thoughts or things you think we should know on Boardwalk Studios would be great, if you have some to share.

If you are staying on a member cash discount, you get the same housekeeping as if you were on points. If you booked directly through Disney like you would any other Disney resort, you get full daily housekeeping.

I booked through MS, so I guess that means no housekeeping. Oh, well. I dont think we will be in the room much anyway, so I dont think it will really matter. I'm pretty sure I can handle making my own bed. Thanks for the info.

If you booked through member services, your cash nights & points nights are combined for housekeeping. So if you do Friday & Saturday night cash, then Sunday to Thursday points, you will get a trash & towel service on Monday (day 4).

Well, we are staying our first two nights on cash at BWV. Then we are transferring over to VWL for 6 more nights. Do the first two nights count towards the 4 nights of housekeeping or do we start from scratch at VWL?

Since that will be two separate reservations, you'll start over at VWL. If all nights were at one resort, it would be one reservation, but you have two distinct reservations (and two res numbers).

But you will have a cleaned unit at VWL, so it is like getting another housekeeping. You will get Trash and Towel service on day 4 at VWL too. We actually kind of like not having housekeeping. I always have to make a note to myself to "prepare" for housekeeping on T&T and full cleaning days.
