Which resort are you staying at??? We have never failed to have one in the closet at OKW, and that's with over 30 stays there.

It has happened 5 times in the past 18 months 4 times at SSR and 1 time at OKW - it has not happened at BC, BW, AKL or BLT. The interesting part is that SSR and OKW are run by the same management team and unfortunately we know them all by 1st name. They actually said it happens quite frequently - our biggest issue is how long it takes to get one once you realize it is missing. The quickest was 30 mins and the longest was 3 hours. Not fun with a baby after a long day of travel and parks!!

Are you staying in studios? I can see where they might most often be missing from studios. We always know we have them in the closet of the master, because it's always in the way.

Especially if it is a lockoff. The pack and play could be in the one bedroom portion of the villa if the last guest had two small ones.

Wow....to be honest if I found this much stuff I would start thinking of selling.....This would be unacceptable in my book. Would Disney tolerate this kind of work from their housekeeping staff in a regular two bedroom at a different hotel? I'm guessing not. I know I should be careful what I ask for, but maybe we need to pay some more MFs to make sure the crews can get the villas cleaned.....

I now make sure I have my disinfectant wipes and clean the bathrooms, etc.
It is not something I can't clean, throw away, or change myself. Point is, I shouldn't have to wipe down a banquet and the wall behind it because of sticky jam hands. I shouldn't have to vacumn and throw away the kleenex and food crumbs under a hide-a-bed. Don't even get me started with the icky mirrors that get a quick rub with a dirty cloth. Again, housekeepers, clean with your eyes!
HHI villas are ALWAYS spotless. At least the 8 times I've stayed there.
I have over 1000 points, so I have had a lot of visits to DVC.

They get taken out of the room and then they forget to replace Not a big deal if it didn't take so long to get a replacement.

4 times at SSR and 1 time at OKW in less than 18 months. We have also stayed at BLT twice, BWV once, BC twice, and AKL once during this same time frame and haven't had this happen while there. The interesting part is that OKW and SSR are one of the few resorts that are managed by the same team. The GM and her staff are for both resorts. It is bad when we know her and her assistant by name and have their numbers in our cells because the problems have been that bad. The latest problem just occurred the 1st week of June. Needless to say, we usually only stay at those properties when we book trips late in the game and only if nothing else is available Very sad especially since they are both beautiful properties!!
