We are studio-stay folks and have had probably 20+ check-ins since we split stay with VB on most of those trips. I am a picky germ-a-phobe and have felt that my rooms were cleaned above my expectations on almost every trip.
We did find puked-in towels stuffed under the sink at BWV once - everything else was fine, and there would not have been a reason for housekeeping to look under the sink since it ought to have been empty.
Had a soaking wet carpet on one side of the bed at OKW once, and a broken air conditioning unit at AKV. But have always felt that mousekeeping did a good job.

It was truly disgusting!! We quickly threw our groceries in the fridge (she had cleaned it already) and our stuff in the closest of the 2nd bdrm and left so she could get back to business. I really felt sorry for her!!! When we got back at the end of our day, we had no pack-n-play, no highchair, and no working phones/internet in any of the 3 rooms! After 2 hours on our cell phones with 2 terribly crabby little guys, we finally got some of it resolved. How do we prevent this from happening again?? We spoke to everyone and their mother for the 2 days before the rest of our family arrived, but it never should have happened
We do love our
