Hi

This is the first time I am renting from a DVC member. We will be staying at the Boardwalk in a 2br for 6 nights. There are 5 of us and the youngest is 16.

I don't understand the housekeeping options. Everytime I call Disney I get a slightly different story.

Help - can anyone explain it to me.

Thanks to all!!

Less than 30 days to go............YEAH FOR US!!

For a 6-night stay, the only housekeeping services included is a "Trash and Towel" service, normally scheduled for the 4th day. You can reschedule at check-in if you wish.

All that housekeeping will do is change your towels, empty the trash, and refill some consumables like a one-load box of laundry detergent.

The 2B will have a washer and dryer in-room, so you can always wash your towels more frequently if you wish (bring some extra detergent.) But you will not get any of the normal "make the bed, sweep the floor" type services that you may associate with a hotel stay. When you return to your room in the afternoon, it will be exactly as you left it.

If you wish to pay for additional housekeeping services, you may elect to do so. Someone else can look up the rates. It's something like $30 per day for a full cleaning of a 2B.

For a 2 bedroom, it's $40 per day requested. You can get extra trash and towel service for $10 per day requested. With a 2 bedroom, you'll get 8 sets of towels (at least the bath towels & washcloths, maybe less hand towels). You'll get a box of tide (1 load size) when you check-in and one on trash & towel day. We find it easy to just pop the towels in the washer or reuse them.
