Well after my first week at BCV (having only stayed a few days at VWL before), I will admit that I no longer miss housekeeping! Lack of housekeeping was one of the cons I listed about DVC on a thread awhile back, but it was actually nice not having to be "bothered" by housekeeping while we were there.
As a matter of fact, on trash and towel day, I was dreading it, lol, knowing I had to "clean up" for the housekeeper (get the towels together for her, etc., so she wouldn't have to look for them). Sure enough, at about 8 a.m., I got a knock on my door. I ignored it as I was in my towel and by the time I got to the door, the housekeeper was across the hall (I did not have a do not disturb sign anywhere in our BCV room). Housekeeping came back while we were at the parks that day which was fine, but I now understand why some people say they prefer no housekeeping. Works for me!
