I would recommed go with the home that suits your needs best. Both are great communities, both have their positives. At the end of the day, you will have the best idea of what will work for your family.
I've stayed in both places and can't say that I prefer one over the other. WH is closer to more dining and the parks, not as spread out as Reunion. Reunion has a nice water park for days off from the parks. If you think you'll be spending most of your time away from the house then it doesn't matter which you choose. Reunion has lots of activities, some of which will cost you. There's planned activities for the kids in the water park area but you may have to pay for some of them, from a couple of dollars to about 15 for the build-a-bear type craft. If you're the type to take advantage of the resort type amenities like the spa, golf, tennis then Reunion would work for you. If you'll be too busy at the parks for any of that then pick the house that you like best.
