House of Blues - What's it like??

We ate a HOB a number of years ago with our kids and there was no entertainment. It seems like I remember the entertainment being in a different part of the building. Just my husband and I are going in November and looking for fun places to eat and hang out in the evenings. Should we add HOB to our list? How does it work? Is there entertainment everynight? What time? Have I reached my limit of questions in one thread?

We have been there for lunch and it was just loud music, no live entertainment but the food was awesome!

Food is great! There are live bands on the porch at night. Not sure about inside, I think that schedule varies. The concert venue is in a seperate adjacent building.

They also have Happy Hour now.

We ate there a couple weeks ago. There was a live band playing inside. We sat down around 10 pm to eat and the band started shortly after that.

I love HOB! The atmosphere is so fun and the food is delicious. Have you tried Bongos Cuban Cafe or Raglan Road?

was there this april for lunch. there wasn't any entertainment at that hour and i left with food poisoning. my sister ate with me that day and she was fine and loved her meal. i've been in the other half of the building for a concert. had a great time, had decent bar food and the drinks...well you know how that is lol.

They usually have live entertainment in the main restaurant later in the evening. But be careful if you want to eat off the full menu. I think they switch to a late night menu around 10:00pm or so.

They also have the music hall next door for ticketed concerts and events. The restaurant and music hall are separate areas.

Music:
1) On a firm schedule, there are performances in the back room.
2) Almost daily there is music on the outside porch/veranda.
3) On weekends, there is live music in the main dining area.
4) Other than that, the blues/jazz on the PA system can get quite loud.
