I'm not sure who I'm more upset with, myself or House of Blues.
A month ago, I purchased tickets for the Gospel Brunch for an upcoming trip. I did it online, which pushes you out to a Live Nation/Ticketmaster web site. $210 for four of us.
I was all happy about getting the tickets at the time. I knew they had a no-refund policy, which made me nervous, but the policy is what it is, and we wanted to see the show.
Darn it all, I'm just now seeing that DVC members are supposed to get either a 20% discount or buy-3-get-1-free for the brunch. I called to ask if it was possible to get the discount retroactively. Nope. All sales are final. Nothing to be done. She told me that had I called instead of doing it online, they would have asked me about discounts. The Ticketmaster site doesn't accommodate the DVC discount.
Sigh.
