Don't see much on here about HOB. I just hope its good, lol. Just purchased tickets (non refundable) for the Gospel Brunch next month. Can anyone tell me how the seating is for the brunch? When I ordered the tickets, the man said we got a good table on the floor in front.

There was a thread on here about the Gospel Brunch about a week ago and the reviews were very positive.

While I have never done the Brunch, we tried HoB last year for the first time and it was the highlight of all our dining on the trip. We are going to eat there at least twice this year. Great food, great atmosphere, really enjoyed the evening. :thumbsup2

The food was ok, but what I remember most was how loud it was. My son (asperger's) had to have earplugs. When they saw him holding his ears the waitress gets a pack our of her apron pocket and gave them to him.

The music was just not my thing. I was expecting a more blues jazz type of Christian music and it was more like Beyonce does gospel with her liturgical dancers (also not my thing and my daughter does this at church).

Groups change so if I ever go again I will be sure to check out the group before purchasing tickets.

Yeah you did get good tickets. There is the main floor with seating primarily in front of the stage and then another level where most of the seating is to the sides of the stage. (I think I'm remembering this correctly)

We went several years ago and were seated on the floor right in front of the stage. We loved it and plan to go again when we are there on a Sunday (usually fly out that day).

Thanks, will have to see if I can locate that thread.

Tried checking their concert calendar for who would be performing but our date was blank, lol. We're more into contemporary christian music but like the blue/jazz type too.

Thanks. Just my adult daughter & myself doing a weekend trip this time. The first time we'll have a Sunday without kids along so we thought we would try this. The menu looks good & hopefully the music will be also. If not we are still planning on catching Herman's Hermits over at Epcot....:lmao:
