I thought this might help someone else... I just bought a certificate from Restaurant.com that takes $25 off a $35 purchase at House of Blues in Downtown Disney. By using the code DINE, I got it for 80% off, just $2.00...

We are going next month, and this will save us (eating out for a family of 5 is always a killer)...

:thumbsup2 I got our certificate last month - for our trip in Oct!

When I got it they also had a special that gave me a $10 Restaurant.com gift card and a $10 GC to shoes.com. Got DD some comfy shoes and we used the rest.com gc last week to try a restaurant we had never been to

Hmmm..we had one of these when we went last summer, but the last day, when we headed off to HOB, they were closed for a private event.

When do they expire? I heard that in CA., they don't, but I'm not sure that's true.

If you have 5 people you should really consider the higher level coupon if available. Sure you will make good use of the $23 you will save, but you bill is likely to be much higher.

Good question...do they Cali rest.con certificates expire? i stil have unused ones from last year.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks.

It's true. By law, in California they don't expire. I'm still sitting on one that I failed to use two years ago. But I'll use it one of these days...

These are almost too good to be true. I just bought 2 $50 certificates for $8!

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of HOB, but you can't beat a deal like that!

I did the same thing, then I read on there that they can only be used 1 per month. I was thinking my parents could use one & we use the other. But we can only use 1 per party even if we sit at different tables.

So now I have one that I won't be able to use.:sad2:

Are you eating there twice? There are some exceptions with the coupon. Look closely.

i wish they had other places never been to hob

I agree, but the site is not Disney specific. In fact its participation is kind of odd so at least they have one in DTD that most of us have an opportunity to use. Otherwise I find the site better suited to people in a metropolitan area with a broad array of dining in a tight area.

Are you thinking we won't be able to use them at the same time? I'm not sure about that either, but for only 8 bucks it doesn't really matter. We could get separate checks or just go twice for lunches if we can't use them together.

Has anyone else had experience with this?

Thanks, I thought about that, but the only other value they have available is a $50 off $100 purchase, and we're unlikely to spend that much. 3 of the 5 of us are kids, and 2 will split a kids meal (they are 4 and 6, so don't eat much).

I recently purchased a certificate for HOB. It says "No expiration date".

I bought one $50 cert. for use with a $100 or more purchase. For those who have been there, do you think it is reasonable to think we will have a $100 bill for 7 people? 4 adults and 3 young kids? We don't drink so alcohol won't be on the tab. Opinions? TIA! :lovestruc

Yes, I have been there at WDW and Las Vegas many times. We have 5 people and will easily spend $100.

You can check out the prices in the dining section but meals are from 11.99-28.99 Per meal not counting drinks appetizers or dessert.;)

Probably. The cheapest meal you can get is $14 for a burger and fries plus a few bucks for a drink. Entrees were over $20. And Salad are extra and Several dollars to near $20. Of course kids are lower but still going to wind up over $10 each.

Keep in mind a service charge is added when you use the coupons, and its amount isn't included in the total to make the coupon usable.
