House Hunters TV Show

And God forbid that a husband, wife and 1 child couldn't live in less than 2,500 sq ft. I didn't want larger than a 1,500 sq ft home for the 3 of us as I didn't want that much space to clean.

I like to watch My First Place too and one of my favorite episodes had the couple where the wife wanted new construction as she didn't want to take a bath in a bathtub that someone else had sat in previously.:scared1:

I think they have this new fangle thing now they call cleanser. And there's scrubbing bubbles.

Wonder if she goes on vacation, does she shower, standing barefoot in the same tub that thousands have used already?;) Although I have to admit, for a time, I used to wear my flipflops in hotel showers so I guess I wasn't too far from that. I still bring & use my own washcloth. Gosh I'm weird.

I love HH!! There is one repeat that drives me nuts. It's a couple, engaged, moving from Chicago to Indiana. They buy in Carmel and their budget is at least $1Mil. Seriously??? You can buy a McMansion in Carmel for $500K or less ... and with no kids why do you need 5 bedrooms???? Honestly ...

Or the people, seemingly our age mid 30's, buying vacation homes with budgets of $500-1mil. What are we doing wrong? DH makes a good income but with two little kids we still have to budget and I can't even afford a minivan right now!!
