hours of pools at ssr???

hello,

we are heading down in oct and staying at the ssr for our first visit "home". I was wondering if anyone has taken notice of the hours for the pools?? Last year when we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, we were surprised, but very pleased to find out that the pool was open 24/7. We enjoy getting back late and heading to the pool for a late night dip.

The High Rock Springs pool has posted the hours of 10:00am until 8:00pm.

I didn't notice any hours listed at the quiet pool.

There are lifeguards at the main pool, but none at the quiet pool.

The playground is open from dawn until dusk.

The quiet pool listed its hours as 10:00 to 10:00. The hot tub/jacuzzi sign said it was open 24 hours (we were in late a few nights).

The lifeguards told us that we could swim 24/7 at SSR. But when they left at 8 they turned off all the fountains and closed the slide.

I've seen many people report both here and on the Resorts board that the pool hours are loosely enforced. You won't find any lifeguards after hours, and I certainly wouldn't recommend too much noise after hours. But as long as the front desk doesn't receive any complaint phone calls, you shouldn't be bothered.

At SSR now. Told quiet pool until 10:00 but that no one would be enforcing it unless there were noise complaints.

Since the main pool is not near any rooms I doubt swimming there after it closes would be a problem as long as guests stay away from the slide.

As to the quiet pools, all have hours to 10pm due to being close to guest's rooms and respect for their privacy. As stated it is not enforced unless their is a noise problem.
