Hours changed last minute??

All week, on the Disney app the park hours for DHS were 9-7 today with EMH 8-9am. MK hours were 9-10 with EMH. 10-12. When checking some wait times this afternoon, hours are now DHS 9-9 and MK 9-11 with EMH 11pm-1am. Never seen this before! Anyone else seen this?

Yes. When we were there in Feb they extended the house the day of. We heard the announcement over the loudspeaker around 6:00pm stating that the hours were being extended. That was at MK.

actually this happens quite often.

it caught us of guard last summer because we paid no attention to the newly listed park hours and found oursvles wondering why we were not let on a ride at MK at what we thought was the start of EMH.
they had changed the EMH day to the next day.

usually we do check especially when its around thanksgiving but we just didn't think to check that time last july.

Thanks! Wow, been to WDW at least 20 times, first time I've seen this. It is much more crowded than they anticipated, wonder if this precipitated the changes?

It happens, They also make announcements in the parks time to time that operating hours are extended. When I"ve see it, it's really crowded or rain is interfering with a night parade/show/fireworks but it's expected to end early enough that an extra hour with the park open and they can still do it.

Yeah I learned the hard way once when I showed up with my kids all excited for the Disney jr dance party during EMH at HS and found out we had to wait another hour because they had extended park hours. Not fun at all.

I consider it pixie dust! More time in the parks is always a good thing IMHO

On our very first trip (december 2010) we walked up to MK all ready for our before-park-open CP breakfast, to find out that the park was opening at that time. So much for an empty main street!

It's happened to us other times, too.

I was in AK a few weeks ago and they were supposed to close at 6pm. Around lunch time, there was a park wide announcement on loud speaker that they had extended the hours to 7pm.
