hours and planning rant!

We are going to be there the week of Thanksgiving. I can make dining reservations in less than 3 weeks. My brain will not let me plan without knowing park hours or if/when/where there will be any extended evening hours that week. As of right now, hours are only posted thru Nov 8. At this rate, the hours for that week won't be posted until 2 days before I can make reservations. I know what days there will be MVMCP and Jollywood, so I can plan for those. Any chance at extended evening hours the week of thanksgiving?

Yes, it's frustrating. I see AK listed as closing at 6 pm the days we are going and from what I remember from our past vacations it was always changed from 6 pm to 7 pm the week we go. I have to make dining reservations and don't know if I should make them for 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm.

Also, we are staying for two weeks and I can't make reservations for the second half of our second week yet. I think it's great they made dining reservations available for 10 days from check-in, but I wish they based it on your entire hotel stay.

This annoys me too. We always stay for 2 weeks and it’s annoying we can’t make all our ADRs at once. You’d think Disney would be glad we’re staying/paying so long and would reward that by allowing us to book our entire stay at 60 days. Makes no sense.

We arrive that week as well. One thing I learned recently is that the app actually has about 10 days additional worth of park hours than you can see on the website, so take a peek there. Depending upon what day you arrive you may actually be able to start seeing your park hours within the next few days.
I don't have the app downloaded at the moment to confirm, but online I can see through 11/13 (using the 5 day view) and IIRC you should currently be able to see through about 11/23 using the app and you can see to 11/19 on the app. [corrected my math mistake]

Oh that makes sense, I thought it was 70 days but I added 10 to the wrong date Appreciate the confirmation!

It is quite frustrating. We will be there November 2-16. Hours are MK, HS, EP all 9-9 every day except party days, while AK is 8-6 daily. Obviously this will change, likely within the last week or two before we go. All we can do is guess and hope based on last year's hours.
