I was wondering if anybody else got the same reply. I'm planning to cancel my membership if this is the case, just because tickets were all I planned to buy in the near future, I have no complaints about the company itself. The following is the reply to my asking if they planned to carry the MYW tickets to Walt Disney World. Just to be clear, I'm not faulting Hotwire I know it's Disney ultimate decision who supplies their tickets, I am just checking to see if anyone else got a different reply, because I have experienced an uninformed customer service rep. before at another distributer, and I want to be sure before I cancel :)

Dear Kelly,

I do apologize, we do not offer the new Magic Your Way tickets.

Thank you for your interest in Hotwire Savings Club. You may speak directly
with a Member Savings Representative by dialing 1-877-581-0266.

The call is toll-free and our Representatives are available Monday through
Friday 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard
Time.

Please feel free to write back and let me know if I can be of further
assistance.

Thank you,

:flower1: I was hopeful that they would have some great deals on WDW like they did before.

You know, what can they do? WDW allows them to purchase tickets. WDW decides the path of distribution...perhaps they want more control over it. Hotwire is probably not thrilled that they can no longer offer the service, but it is in no way their fault. We don't know the complete scope of why Disney is making all these changes, or what caused them to restructure. WDW will decide who gets the discounts. It will all be a new learning experience for all of us. And I joined Hotwire today....and I am not disappointed at all. :umbrella:

Sorry, I should rephrase that, I didn't mean it to sound so angry that I was going to cancel (I just read my own post, I'll change it). I just figured that for our family we've bought all of the gift cards we needed for christmas, and all I was waiting for was WDW tickets, but now there is nothing else for my family to justify the monthly fee as we have small children so we don't go to movies to often). We have overall had a good experience with Hotwire though, just disappointed about the tickets I was waiting for some excellent deals

It may be a little too soon to really know. Just because they don't offer them right now, doesn't mean they won't get them later. As will all new things it takes awhile to get everything fully up to speed. And as the above poster said, it's not Hotwires fault if disney choses to restrict who can sell their tickets.

I just spoke to Solomon at Hotwire Savings Club and he told me that Disney had requested that they withdraw the PHPs because of the new MYW tickets. He said he thought they were working with Disney to get the MYWs as soon as possible and to check back next week. He didn't seem to know anything about the new tickets except that they're new, but I feel hopeful that they will be carrying them soon. (Am I too optimistic?)

So it sounds hopeful. I think this is going to be a year of questions and trials while Disney works out the kinks. I wouldn't be suprised to see all kinds of changes later in the year. We all know one thing...nothing is the same. Summersfam4 good luck with your plans...I didn't take your post as angry, just flustrated (as we all are).

Well, after talking to Solomon yesterday, I was feeling pretty good about being able to get MYW tix from Hotwire for our trip next month. But today, I got a response to the email I sent on Monday night asking if they were going to be carrying MYW any time in the near future. Here's the reply:

Thank you for your interest in Hotwire Savings Club. I am sorry, but at this time we do not offer Disney Magic Your Way passes. Please check back with us in May (when we will have 2005 passes).

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you,

Oh well, at least I got my breakfast and Q&C vouchers. (Joined Hotwire Saving Club and ordered the vouchers on New Years Eve night, got them in the mail today (1/6))
