I'm currently browsing hotel prices (not in a big rush to book yet - have the flights sorted, which is most important!). I've just been on the Hotwire site and it's offering me a great price in the location I want. 3-star hotel in Universal Orlando - I-drive North Area for $39 per night (50% off) and it's marked as a 'customer favourite'. My big fear is the fear of the unknown!¬
I'd like to hear of your experiences with Hotwire please.

If you go to betterbidding.com, they have a listing of hotwire hotels. By looking at the specific amenities offered and the location, you have a good chance of figuring out which hotel it is.

Good luck! I have my first hotwire hotel booked in August, and I was able to determine the hotel by using betterbidding.

I just used hotwire for the first time last wk got a 3 star marked customer fave near Orlando/Universal for $43 a night for June 8-12th and it turned out to be Hyatt!

Betterbidding is a great site. With all the helpful info I was able to snag Gaylord Palms for $126 a night June 13-June 15. Heck even with the passholder rate at Disney for $94 for a value for $30 more this is a great deal!

I'm glad I stumbled across this site! I too just booked the 3 Star Hotel in the Universal area that was marked customer favorite for $39/night. I I didn't know about Betterbidding, and when I went there, I also figured out it was the Hyatt. OP, I'll bet yours is too!

I love betterbidding.com. I've used them 4 times and each time they were correct. In return for their help, they ask that you book your Hotwire purchase thru their link. It doesn't cost me anymore by doing it so it's a win-win situation for all of us.
Last Sept. I got the Hyatt inside MCO for only$59/nt. It was so nice and convenient, I have 2 ressies booked there this year at AAA rate and keep hoping it will show up on HW for my dates.
