I just signed up for HWSC to order some PHP, its been 2 days no email for log-in. How long does it normally take to get ur log in/account info?

I just re-joined yesterday. After I filled out my info I had to go offline, but within an hour I got an email from them. You should call and let them know...

I also joined and ordered yesterday (first time) and did not get any emails

Laurabelle, how long was it between your first membership and rejoining? I just cancelled because I didn't think I'd be buying much for awhile, but I'd like to rejoin in the future. :)

I called hotwire and they said the sign up for HWSC isnt going though because I never purchased anything from HW so i'm not a member? Is this true? i thought anyone can sign up?

firemist- If you filled out the form on the intro page, including putting in credit card info, you should have received a WELCOME TO HWSC email, listing your membership info, how to log on, ect. It should come to you within minutes of filling out the form to join. Then you can use the log on info to make purchases. I've never had a bit of trouble with HWSC.

LauraR - I left in Dec. with no problems cancelling. I was told at the time it wouldn't be a problem to rejoin later, and it wasn't.

HTH

I joined this morning and got the email within 5 minutes. The only thing I am mad about is after I placed my first orderr the icon to get the $10 rebate form disappeared. Had to call 800 number and they are mailing me the form.

I thought I joined HWS through MyPoints rewards site. Hotwire is a sponsor of that site. I entered all the info required but have received NO response in at least 10 days! I want to contact both MyPoints and HWS and see what's up. I have no # for Hotwire however. Thanks.

The 750 MyPoints is only for Hotwire purchases -- Air, Hotel, Car, or Vacation. HWSC purchases are NOT considered hotwire purchases so they are not eligible for the 750 points from MyPoints.

I can live with that, I didn't figure I would get the points but I did think the link THEY provided would work and after filling everything out I'd get the membership. But, nope, nothing! And MyPoints sent me the usual "form" letter (it's not our fault, you have to take it directly up with the company..........) HEY, the addy at the top of the page WAS MyPoints.

Still need the 800# for HWSC if anyone can provide it please!

Although the Hotwire page seems to work in Netscape and other browsers, it never 'sends' so you need to use Explorer. I did not get the email the first time I tried to sign up. I retried in Explorer and got it almost right away. I called to make sure I didn't sign up twice and they only have me down one time. They said it would not let me join the free trial twice with all the same info. I'll let you'll know if I have any problems!

Thanks for the # javaj.

I called and spoke to a nice woman who told me that yes I had been a member since 4/16 and couldn't explain why I haven't gotten an e-mail but said the packet of info should be here very soon.

She gave me my membership #. I then logged on and tried to order WDW tickets for the kids for our trip late in May. I was able to get in with the membership number but I couldn't get the site to accept my order............

Color me IRRITATED WITH HOTWIRE!!!

Good Morning!

I recently joined Hotwire and did not have any trouble as described before. I think it took a couple of minutes at most to get the welcome (?) e-mail. I was able to immediately order from them, but have found that the only thing that will benefit me are the theme park tickets. I have no use for the shopping cards as we live so far away from Target and othere places and I don't use the other businesses for anything. Now I have to call to cancel, I guess. I think their ticket prices are good, but maybe the hassle is not worth it overall as having to call back to cancel if you do not keep up the membership. Unless you really want to use the other benefits, there are other sources, IMO, to order passes from that are written about on these boards. I was very happy with Hotwire, but just don't think in the long run that it will work out for me.

Finally spoke to someone who was competent and got my login info. Never did recieve the welcome email.

Has anyone purchased movie tickets from them? do they have expiration date and can they be used at any time or only certain hours? Also are the vouchers or passes or one of those cards that get a punch every time you use?

Thanks so much :)

I'm glad you finally got it straightened out! I have ordered movie tickets, I don't remember there being an expiration date, I gave them as gifts, guess I didn't pay attention.
BTW- I ordered on 4/26 and got my order today!

I could order gift cards, but was unable to order theme park tickets or vouchers on the website. I called an ordered them over the phone.

I ordered movie tickets through Hotwire for the Showcase cinemas near me. There is no expiration date on mine, and no restriction on what hours you can use them. They are vouchers that you exchange for a ticket; not good the first two weeks of a movie's run.

thanks so much for all the info. Its VERY good to hear delivery doesnt take too long. I was a bit worried about that.

And I persisted and ordered 7day WDW tickets and some vouchers last night. I'm wondering about delivery though as the addy Hotwire has for me is a P O Box!

Now as long as the two times the link said it failed actually did or I'll get triple tickets and vouchers! Yikes!
