I have 2 PS, one for CRT and hte other for Chef Mickeys. I can save some money if I get the meal vouchers and use them.

Has anyone ever done this? I think I saw a post somewhere that they were used at CRT and rec'd poor service.

I'm willing to forgo the savings, if the vouchers make the CMs not provide the same amount of service.

Thanks

Are you talking about the breakfast vouchers?

Also, I have always had great service using the vouchers. The servers always let us order the best things, and I heard it was because they get a tip based on what the price of the bill would be without the voucher. One server at B&C told us that he likes the vouchers because he is guaranteed a better tip because people order more expensive things then they normally would if they didn't have the voucher, thus he gets a bigger tip from Disney.

I have used the breakfast vouchers at 1900PF, Donald's, Boma, Spoodles, Goofy's at BC and always recieved great service and CM welcomed them and gave us the best suggestions as to how to use them efffectively. I have never seen anything neagtive about them. I just odered some for my trip 12/26-12/31/04.

I used the lunch Vouchers at Le Cellier, Rainforest Cafe and Brown Derby. (They are kinda the same as the vouchers you're talking about) and received the best service at each place. The waiters were especially helpful in helping us get the most out of them. We had 3 very memorable meals and for our family of 4 we only needed 1 adult and 1 child voucher and then ordered an extra drink and appetizer. Huge amounts of food, and the waiters were pleased as punch, because the tip is built in. (The more you spend using these vouchers, the better their tip.)

I'm confident you will recieve good service. Have a great time.

are the portions really that big that you can split a meal for 2 adults and split one meal for 2 children? does the childrens meal mean from the childrens menu or can they order anything they want just like adult....from what i remember seeing on the childrens menu, the meals for kids are not that much $ (under the voucher amount for child)...we are going 2 adults and 3 kids and sharing 2 or 3 meals between the two of us would be more insentive for me to get the vouchers (because i still cant see spending 30+ for lunch....please give me your advice. thanks:earsgirl:

It really depends on which way you want to go. There are definitely meals on the menu that are under the voucher amount, but if you get the more expensive meals there is definitely more of a value (and luxury.)

Another thing you need to add in is the tax and tip (which are included in the vouchers.) This can add up, as I'm sure you're aware.

Also, if your kids are older, they will likely eat the whole kids meal. It seems older kids eat like it's their last meal, when it's at a restaurant. My kids are 2 and 8. I ate some of my 8 year olds entree, some of my husband's. The 2 year old ate some of everything. We ate family style.

Also, ask the advice of your server. They are eager to help because their tip is built in. Actually, they fare better when a more expensive meal is purchased.

We went ahead and ordered an extra drink and appetizer (unnecessary) and were always STUFFED.

All this really hinges on the age/appetite of your children. The Lunch Vouchers are a very good savings. The Quick and Casual are not as great, but it is still nice to pre-pay for the meal and forego paying tax.

Hope this helped. Hotwire also had some pretty good gift cards too, and cancelling wasn't a problem (Iwas worried about getting ripped off.) Seems it is a normal, up-and-up company.
