I can get a great rate on an intermediate SUV on hotwire for my dates. Even better, by about 65.00 than the famous Alamo AE and Ecoupon rates. My problem is that Enterprise is one on the possible choices of rental agencies. They are off site, this bothers me. I don't want to deal with an off site rental given the late hour I am arriving.

If you rented with Hotwire, who did you get???

I booked on Hotwire for Dec 14 - 24 and got Avis. We got a Premium car for $8.95/day.

Does anyone know if Avis is on-site?

Define "late hour".

I think Enterprise closes at 11, so if you're arriving close to or later than that, I can't see how Hotwire could hook you up with them.

Well, late hour for me. I am arriving at 8:30 at night. But with a group of five, we definitely don't want to lug our luggage all the way to an off site area to get the car. Hertz is a choice too for hotwire, and they are off site as well. I think I should just either rent the car or get a towncar for the trip back and forth to the resort.
