Hotwire/Priceline and Alamo

A couple of "ifs".......

If I book through Priceline or Hotwire, and if I get Alamo as my car company, can I still use the Alamo kiosk to check in or do I have to wait in the usual line at the counter?

I have heard both, that sometimes you need to go to the counter, other times the kiosk works fine.

In regards to Priceline and Hotwire, to be honest, I hear Hertz is more often the agency that people get over the other agencies and with Hertz, you cannot use Gold Service or any of those functions.

I am one who has used the kiosk with a priceline reservation...so it did work at one time - my experience was over a year ago though.

I used the alamo kiosk with priceline last November. Worked fine.
