Hotwire and Loews card?

I got the best rate this year thru hotwire, can I still use my loews card for gift, paper and possible room upgrade?

The new rules state that you do not get the loews benefits unless you book directly through loews or universal at a specified rate.

Some people report still getting the benefits...but, I am guessing that is not going to last long, since this change has been in the works for a long time. You really can't expect it when you are paying so little for the room, however, it would still be nice.

We stayed at PBH in June and received all of the Lowes First amenities (paper, wine).

We were upgraded from a Hotwire room to a deluxe bayview on the 5th floor.....It was wonderful.....

After the amazing treatment we received at the PBH, we won't be staying at a Disney resort again any time soon.

According to all the recent people coming back everyone is still getting the loews welcome gift its the upgrades that seem to be refused (for most not all). Thats also regarding the ER not hotwire. But I would guess these rates are based the same way as ER's.

I agree with webray, seems like they are cracking down and its been in the works for a while, now they are starting to implement it. Still it could happen and if it does its a bonus! Good luck to you
