Hotwheels or Cars Track

I am buying a gift for a 5 year old boy (almost 6), I'm not sure which would be better for his age, Disney Cars Mack Truck Challenge Race Track or Hotwheels Speed Racer Sky Jump. Although, I love Disney toys, the Cars track looks like a 5 year old would be bored with it quickly? Any advice, I'm used to buy for girls and would appreciate your advice.

I'm not sure about boredom, but in my experience Hot Wheels tracks are junk. They fall apart and don't do what they're supposed to. I wouldn't waste any money on that.

I agree with the pp every hotwheels track we have ever had falls apart. Now Matchbox ones however have always done great (don't understand why the difference since they are made by the same company)

Yep, same here, we have some good Matchbox sets.

Agree on the Hot Wheels being junk. My son has tons of the Matchbox tracks (pop-ups and others) and they hold up well. Unless he is a Cars fan, I would go with a generic Matchbox one. They have lots of different pop up sets and some regular ones that are like a castle, haunted house, etc.
