Day Three - Sunday, December 14
Woke up pretty early again (this will be a trend during the whole trip), had breakfast at POP. I had the adult breakfast platter and Mandi had a ham and cheese omlette plate. Paid OOP for these.
Made it to Epcot right after opening time. Headed straight for Soarin. It was at this moment, we all realized that Mandi and I could far out run my parents. Not running exactly, but close to it. So the two of us went ahead to score 4 FastPasses and we would meet up at the ride to see when the return time would be. My mom decided to get a wheelchair for the rest of the trip. We were a little surprised when they showed up in the Land pavillion with her in the chair. But she was better off the rest of the time.
Pretty sure we rode Soarin and saved the FastPasses for a later time. Living with the Land is another favorite hear. I can still remember hearing Mandi singing "Rain, rain go away..." when she was two years old. Ah, memories...
After the Land, we all wanted to see what the new Nemo ride was like. The line seemed to go on forever, but kept moving at a nice pace. I rode this with Steve the year before, but I had a camera pressed to my face the whole time and didn't have the full experience. After those pics didn't come out very well, I watching the whole time this go around. Very cool effects. After the ride, we headed right into Turtle Talk with Crush. Even though we don't have small kids anymore, all of us loved this show!!! Even Steve liked it the year before. It just boggles my mind!
Pretty sure we headed over to the Energy ride after that. Mom and dad rode in the little "box" where the wheelchairs go. Mandi and rode up front in the same car. Riding through the dinosaur part, I imagined how it looks when there is a private party going on. You can see pics on the private events page somewhere on the Disney web site. Very cool...
Next Mandi and I rode Mission: Space. Mandi fell in love with this ride! We both texted people back home to let them know we were about to go on it. Then again after we got off... you know, just in case we didn't make it... you know you do it too!
Test Track came next for the two of us.
Lunch was at the Cantina in Mexico. The birds are terrible here. People just need to stop feeding them.

Used 2 counter service credits here. Churros were out of this world!
From here we toured the countries until dinner time. When I called for reservations at LeCellier, the earliest I could get was 7:45pm. But it was well worth it. Mandi had the prix-fix meal of cheese soup, a shrimp and pasta dish (can't remember what it was exactly) and the chocolate "moose". I ordered the cheese soup (paid OOP for this), prime rib and 'smores for dessert. Since Mom's birthday was listed on all of the dinner reservations, they brought out her dessert with 'happy birthday' written on the plate. Only one thing was wrong... she ordered the pumpkin sorbet and they brought out my 'smores on the birthday plate. Dinner was fantastic!

Other than my soup, we used 2 table service credits here. Oh, and mom bought me a blue glowtini.

Yummmm...
