Nope, not yet. I still have tomorrow to do laundry and pack the last bit of stuff. Mandi has her last final at 8am tomorrow, then has to work until 5pm. She will have laundry to do, as well. But, we're excited! Even my parents are already there... they left Ohio on Tuesday, got to South Carolina last night, and made it to Kissimmee around 5pm today. Now they have to stay at a hotel for 2 nights and wait for us!!! :rotfl2:

I will try to write a little something tomorrow night before I hit the sack one last time!

Are you ready??

Actually, Kristel, this is the Ole Miss cheer. It's much better in context. It even makes me tear up a little. Sniff.

I've been thinking about you 2!!! :goodvibes It's been 20 degrees here. Today was dreadful - Snow and sleet. YUK! I'd love to be where you are!!!!

Let us know as soon as you get back. Don't forget to leave bread crumbs for your TR!

The weather was absolutly wonderful! (sorry to rub it in!) We kept hearing about ice storms and about the snow in Las Vegas... they even had some weather issues in Memphis while we were gone.

I will start back up on this a little later tonight! I'm glad someone was thinking about us while we were away!

See? I forgot the bread crumbs! I will probably start it up on Friday. Mandi is out of town, and hopefully she will chime in when I start.

Thanks for remembering though!

I can't help myself. I want some more Christmas at WDW to look at. My motivation is purly selfish. ;)

BTW, My TR is now complete and has already been lumped in with my PTR. :rolleyes1

I'm back!!! LOL! Just kidding, the trip really didn't last that long... like anyone believed THAT one! :rotfl:

Day One - Friday, December 12
The trip down was really uneventful. The plane was on time, smooth flight, no drama. Well, almost no drama. It was on this flight that Mandi realized that she will not be having children anytime soon. :rotfl2: There were people turning around looking at us with that "I am so sorry for you" face. I would just reply back and say "this is the best form of birth control... ever!" It really wasn't that bad, the kids ears were probably bothering him. And he was quieter during the actual flight, when he could actually use his portable DVD player.

We arrived at MCO, made a potty stop and headed down to the DME desk. I didn't have to wait in line, I just had to wait for the next window to open up. And she pointed to the red carpet where we needed to file off into the correct line for the resort. See? Last time when Steve and I used DME, I didn't quite hear where I was supposed to go. The nice lady was from Bogata, Columbia and I didn't understand her. I just smiled and said 'thank you'. Steve and I headed toward the glass doors where we saw all of the buses and asked the very first one we saw. And it was the right one (Coronado Springs)! :thumbsup2 So, we missed the whole red carpet walk that trip. This time, we only had to wait about 10 minutes, and we were on the correct bus. Picked a seat with a nice view of the TV screen and we were on our way in about 10 minutes after that. They did not pack the bus to the gills before leaving, either. Mandi enjoyed the video for the first time, we were getting very eager to experience all that the video was offering. Excitement was building!

I had called my parents and told them that we would probably arrive at POP around 1:30, and that we would call again when we were all checked in and hopefully in our room. Well, when we walked in the POP lobby, they were there sitting and waiting on us already. So, we checked in, but our room wasn't ready yet. I was given 'the number' to call later. I also reminded them that my parents were checking in the following day, and asked again if we could be close to each other. They couldn't guarantee it, but they would note it again. So, we just followed my parents out to their van and headed to the AKL where they were spending the night.

Their room at AKL was ready and they had already been enjoying the view. Very cool!!! At first the animals were kind of far out and hard to see. But the longer we watched, the more movement we saw. Feeding trucks came out, the humans were very polite... waving, saying 'hello' and explaining which foods were for which animals. And when they put food down, they said 'now watch'... and the animals made their way over! We took lots of pictures and lots of video.

We called the longhorn steer "Righty". He had a right-hand lean the whole time when he walked and grazed. Poor thing!

I was having such an amazing time watching the animals, that I forgot to call the number for my room at POP. It was 4pm when I realized (I think you can call at 3pm). Got my room number, and went back to the animals! Then we got ready to head down to Boma for dinner at 6:05pm.

This was my first time at Boma for dinner. I love their breakfast so much, that I just had to bite the bullet and try dinner there. A little apprehensive because of the menu, but had no problems finding something for everyone. Loved, loved, loved the chicken and corn porridge! I had tried it with my salad course, had eaten dinner, gotten my dessert and went back for another bowl of this soup! :woohoo: Out of the desserts, we loved the zebra domes and pineapple upside-down cheesecakes. I must have had 3 of those little cheesecakes!

Then it was off POP. We had a room in the 70's building (#6413) overlooking the little lake and a big, red yo-yo. We couldn't see the lake until the morning, but it was there.

And around the corner...

Day Two - Saturday, December 13

Got up fairly early, headed over to MK and went straight to the Main Street Bakery. Mandi had the cheese plate and a bagel. I had the breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese and a cinnamon roll. We both had chocolate milk to drink. We are on vacation, after all! :cool1: And we used 2 of our counter service credits on all of this.

Since Mandi and were by ourselves, we tried to ride some of the faster rides and things that mom and dad wouldn't go on. Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Splash Mountain and the Peoplemover. I will ALWAYS call it the Peoplemover... :rolleyes1 I'm sure we rode other things, too and waited to hear from my parents since they were moving over to POP. Around 12/12:30 they called and said they were headed to MK. POP had given them a room right away. They took all their luggage to the room only to find out that it was still DIRTY! Even the prior occupants bill was on the floor. So, they trekked all the way back to the desk, and were given a different room. This room was actually in our building, the dirty room was not. So, they were on the same floor, but around the corner (facing the foose ball set).

After they made it to MK, we headed over to Columbia Harbor House for lunch. 2 counter service meals for us again... tuna sandwich, apples and chocolate cake for me and an 8-piece chicken nugget, fries and strawberry yogurt for Mandi. I love their tuna sandwich, better then the hot dog/hamburger selections everywhere else.

I'm sure we made the rounds to the Haunted Mansion and Pirates. Everyone liked the new, updated versions.

Dinner that night was at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Great interaction with all of the characters. Pluto cleaned himself up and proposed to Mandi! I'm pretty sure they just agreed that they would stay friends...

We kind of missed the fireworks. Mom and Mandi were in line for Dumbo and the fireworks were just starting when they got off, so we decided to just watch from the backside of the castle. It's just not the same. Plus, they were not letting anyone go through the castle at this point.

After the fireworks, we found a place to watch Spectromagic. There is a little stage or built-in bench built around a tree near the entrance to the Country Bears. They place the rope right there and it was perfect.

I told Mandi, if she ever needed an pic for Match.com or EHarmony... this is it!

I finally made it back to your TR.
Great start. I am loving the pictures of Mandi. She is too cute.

I am so glad you like Boma. Doug and I were so full when we left there. The staff was great too. I will definitly eat there again.

Um, Mandi may have missed a golden opportunity. Pluto just might have been Mr. Right!
