I would love stay at disney but since non disney hotels are so close to the parks I think we will do that

Two adults ..... Your thoughts for very close hotels

1. Your favourite hotel
2. Your favourite motel type

Many thanks

1. Sheraton Park or Anaheim Hilton. If you have a car or don't mind being farther away, Hyatt in Garden Grove.
2. Candy Cane Inn on Harbor.

We won't have a car so want a hotel/motel right by the parks to make it easy after leave the park

We stay directly across the street at Best Western Park Place Inn (motel with free breakfast), or Tropicana (mote, no breakfast). A few minutes walk to the gates.

I stay at Motel 6 MainGate. I dont have a car and use the ART to / from the parks. Motel 6 is the last pick up to the park and the first drop off from the park so very close, about 10 minutes.

Its basic but suits me as I spend about 14 hours each day in the park. Theres no breakfast but they have vending machines, microwaves and tea / coffee facilities in the lobby. The rooms are huge, fit 2 king beds and there is a pool, which I never use.

We loved Park Vue Inn, directly across the street a good free breakfast, clean and nice

Thank you all so much :)

When you say free breakfast ..... Is that drinks and continental ?

Park Place has a bigger breakfast than just continental. They have fruit, pastries, bread, bagels, yogurt, eggs, potatoes, some sort of meat and a few other things I am missing.

I really liked the Staybridge Suites in Anaheim. They have one and two bedroom suites, with full kitchens. Very spacious. Works really well for families. In addition, the breakfast buffet is well stocked and has lots of options. There are week night "receptions" with free cocktails for the grownups (jug wine or domestic beer), and snacks that sometimes turned into dinner for us- my kids will happily make a meal out of cocktail meatballs and rolls. The Disney shuttle picked up and dropped off right in the parking lot of the hotel. The pool was small, but no one really cared.

Park View Inn.
Best Western Park Place Inn

Both have great free breakfast (not continental) and are nice hotels. And you cannot get closer to the parks.
