We had plans to stay at a hotel that had a kitchen, living room and bedroom. Well a few of the days we are there the park shuts down at 8 pm so not worth it to go back for dinner. So I will have things for breakfast and make lunch for the park and we will just buy dinner in the park. So I'm looking for a hotel that has a living room and bedroom so at 8 pm once the kids go to bed we can still watch tv or talk. I also would like it to have a microwave and fridge. We are booking thur Costco if that makes a difference.

I've found a lot of rooms that have that set up- do you have any other amenities you are looking for? Ones I have stayed in personally that have that set up are Desert Inn, Desert Palms, and La Quinta.

Other then living room, fridge, microwave and bedroom walking distice to the park. Our double stroller is not easy to fold (Phil and teds so I have to remove the lower seat) to take art. Other then that nothing else I can think of unless I'm not remembering things we will have a 4 year old and a 4 mo old with us.

There are many many in the area. We like the Residence Inns, Marriott Suites, Homewood Suites, the Best Westerns at the pedestrian crosswalk have that set up, so does Embassy Suites, Portofino Inn. Just a few I know of that we've stayed at. Hojo's kids suite also has that set up.

The Marriot Residence Inn is probably your best bet - spacious and well equipped, as well as reasonably priced

We've stayed at Residence Inn and Staybridge Suites before. Both were really spacious and had full kitchens/living rooms. Residence Inn was a bit closer though. Next year we plan on trying out the Homewood Suites. They are similar in size.

HTH!

I'd look at the Annabella. It was recommended by a CM to me because thier family stays there. It's not super close but not far. It's resonable and very nice.

The residence inn is great. The maingate one would be walking distance, but it's still a bit of a walk. There is another in Garden Grove, but you would have to drive or take ART. The perk of residence inn is they have a really good full hot breakfast. When we stayed there (the GG one) we would fill up on breakfast, and usually not need much of a lunch at all, it was a huge money saver. So you would only have to worry about preparing one meal that way.

We were posting at the same time. Now I see you're looking for walking distance. In that case, the Best Westerns on Harbor, Hojo's, Carousel (haven't stayed there though) Inn and Suites is right on the crosswalk.

We stay in the Peacock Suites, it has a bedroom and then a lounge room that seals off with a sliding door, it usually has another fold out bed in the lounge room. It has a coffee machine, microwave and fridge.

Also Camelot Inn has a nice 1 bedrm suite I've stayed at before. We really liked it. very spacious room and easy walk. If you look at a map at the hotels directly across the street, most have one bedroom suites available as well as their standard rooms. just read a bunch of reviews, look at pics, price them, and pick which one you like best.

Our plan was to stay at Residence Inn maingate. Thank you I will look at the other hotels and see were we want to stay at.

Is it important to you that the kids sleep in the same bedroom as you? If not, any of the hotels with kids' suites will probably work. You wouldn't have a separate living room necessarily, but you and DH would have your own room (likely with its own TV) to stay up and not disturb the kids. HOJO's kids suites have a king size bed, TV, fridge & microwave in the parents' room, and the kids' room has bunk beds and a twin sofa sleeper. Either room has plenty of space for a pack'n'play crib for the baby. And the suite has 2 full bathrooms. If you can get HOJO's Entertainment Card rate ($99), it's going to be much less expensive to book your trip components individually than to do a Costco package.
