Do any of you know of any hotels near DLR (preferably walking distance) that offer a late check out? My friend and I are going down for the 24 hour event, and are flying home on Saturday afternoon, and I think we are going to need some recuperation time after leaving the parks at 6 am that day. Hoping to find a place that will let us hold on to the room until 2 or 3 that afternoon.

Thanks in advance!

I can't think of any hotels that have a late check out. In my experience it's all about asking to check out later than the normal time. Good luck.

I think you generally have to call and ask. But I've never found one that would give more than an hour or two.

Most hotels will only give late checkout if they don't need your room, so it's not something they can guarantee ahead of time.

Candy Cane - If you book a Premium room, check out is 2 pm. AT the Hilton you can get a 4pm check out for $50. I also regularly get a 2pm check out with my AARP card at the Hilton.

thank you! I'll call the Hilton and ask them about that (no AARP card for us). 4 pm would be perfect.

The latest I have found is some of the hotels having 12 pm checkout rather than the usual 11 am checkout. I didn't know about the Ramada with an annual pass, that sounds useful.

Maingate. The other one might, but that's the one that did it for us.
