In the beginning stages of planning a trip for next summer (probably mid August) and we want to stay across the street from Disneyland. Which hotels, if any, have rooms with bunkbeds? Thanks so much!

Hi,

I know the park vue inn for sure has bunkbeds... I hope that helps out .. I know there is one other hotel but just cant think of the name sorry.

I just booked the kids suite at hojo's. It's 2 rooms the kids one has bunkbeds and a sofa/sleeper and the other room has a king size bed. It's further down than the park vue but easily walkable (about 10 mintues at a leisurly pace)

Not across the street but we love Holiday Inn on Manchester about 1 1/2 miles from main gate. Room has 1 queen bed, 2 bunk beds and 1 day bed. The 3 kids beds are partitioned off from the rest of the room and has its own TV and video games. I don't mind the 5-10 minute drive or ART as the room was less than HoJo's, Park Vu etc. Kids eat free in the hotels restaurant was a plus.

Also not across the street but the Hyatt has bunk beds in their kids' suites. They have their own dedicated DL shuttle :flower3:

Carousel Inn and Suites has kids suites with bunk beds. The rooms were great. I had some other issues with the hotel but the rooms were great. It is almost directly across from the crosswalk.

I am curious what issues you had with the carousel .....we are staying there in November we booked the view suite.... we always stay at the park vue but decided to change it up this time...

At the time that we stayed there they didn't post on their website that they charge a parking fee. So when we got there we were told it would be another 5.00 a day to park. They also tried to charge my inlaws room the parking fee even though they were not parking a car.
The front desk staff were not very welcoming, every time I went down there it was like a ghost town but they still made me wait like it was sooo busy. Their free breakfast was skimpy at best, but it was free so I won't knock it too much.
The kids suites are at the end of each hallway which is right next to the elevator. It made for a lot of foot traffic and noise as everyone tromped by our window at all hours. My husband sleeps like a rock and it even bothered him.
We had a pretty good rate and the separate space for the kids almost made up for the other things. I don't know if I would stay there again, I would probably go for a Kids suite at the HOJO. I hope that helps.:)

Don't forget to make sure you received the 15% DISboard discount when you booked your ressies. I was told the bunk beds are twin sized, as is the sofa/sleeper.

I agree, it is an easy walk.

I actually got it at the entertaiment rate - They just included the kids suites at the full discount so it was $99.00/night!

Thanks for mentioning that! I'll call and make sure my rate will also be the same; I was still on the 15% rate! I LOVE the DIS board; a wealth of info. being exchanged means more $$$ saved between it's members.

THANK YOU!! :)

Edited to add: I received the $99 rate as well, thanks so much. You just bought us free breakfast at McD's every day we're in the parks, with the money we're saving! ;)

I'm glad - kids suites, cool waterpark, comfy beds and now awesome coffee makers - maybe I'll stay a month!

OH Wow - I have reservations for the kids suite in July - I hope more dates get added. I am going to call in the morning to check
