hotels sold out late next August?

I'm planning a trip to Anaheim for Disney/World Gymnastics Championships. I've tried comparing hotel prices online, but they won't let me do it this far in advance.

Has anyone tried to book for next August and found that things are already expensive/sold out?

I am not sure what next year will hold but I checked availabilty for this weekend at harbor blvf. for THIS weekend, on Monday and found many many room available, about $99 a night.

Many hotels only load rates 11 months out and rates for Aug 03 wouldn't be set until Sept 02. Try again after Sept 1. I worked in revenue management at a major Las Vegas resort complex and rates there were set 11 months out.

I think it would be amazing to stay on property, at least part of the time, but I wonder if even the Disney hotels will get really expensive because of World Championships. That's thousands of extra people. I have a friend who wanted to use timeshare points in Anaheim for that time, and they told him it was already booked because of it.
