Hi,

I will be going to DL in August with husband and two kids for the first time. Help! I need info on locating a good, CLEAN, and resonably priced hotel. I have seen posts on the Candy Cane Inn and Anaheim Hayatt. Are they any good? Other recommendations? Does anyone know of any promotion codes when booking on the internet?

Thanks to all for your help.

I recommend the Howard Johnson Anaheim (more commonly referred to as the HoJo on these boards).

I am normally able to book far enough in advance to secure an Entertainment Rate of $49 per night for a room with 2 queens. You have to purchase an Entertainment Book, but it pays for itself in one night if you get the rate at the HoJo. If there aren't any Ent. rates available, you can still ask for a mousesavers rate which I believe gets you 10-15% off.

Others have had great experiences booking through Priceline and by using biddingfortravel.com. Personally, I like the good thing I've got goin at the HoJo, so I'm stickin with it.

You can check out the HoJo website at:

Good luck with your planning. :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say that if you do decide to book the Candy Cane Inn (we stayed there last Nov), you get a discount for being a AAA member. We saved probably around $80 or so during our stay.
