I got the Holiday Inn Maingate/Universal last February on Priceline. It was a bit of a nail-biter since, as mentioned previously in this thread, the Doubletree charges a hefty parking fee and they might have accepted my bid. The Holiday Inn was just right -- no resort fee, no parking fee, and walking distance to Universal. I'm sure the Hyatt is at least as good. If I recall correctly, the Best Western Gateway, the Doubletree, and the Wyndham each have a parking and/or resort fee. The other Universal-area hotels do not. (And $12 is really obnoxious, in my view; do even the DTD hotels charge that much??)
