Hotels near Universal

Hi all - we are considering a trip to IOA/US April 8-15. Have checked prices at the onsite hotels, ouch!

We went to IOA a few years ago - a quick one day trip. It's barely in my memory!

The buy 1/ get 1 ticket has tempted us to venture to Orlando! We had considered Sea World, but it looks like it will be 4-5 days at these 2 parks instead!

What hotels are very close to the parks? We like to stay at Embassy Suites - have 10 and 12 year old sons.

We also enjoyed a pool house rental at Windsor something a couple of years ago - any rental communities near Universal?

I am making a trip next month and went to hotelkingdom.com as recomended by some on this board and got Best Western Universal Inn for $232.16 for 4 nights. Although I have never stayed here or been to Universal for that matter, I am quite pleased with this price and location of the hotel.
