Hotels near TPAC (Tennessee Performing Arts Center)

Does anyone know of hotels that are within walking distance to the TPAC (Tennesee Performing Arts Center)? My family and I are planning on traveling there May 20th-22nd or so to see Les Miserables, since so far there has been no Atlanta date announced for the National Tour.

I think the DoubleTree hotel is in walking distance. There are more, but I'm having a hard time thinking. I will try to get back to you.

In addition to the Doubletree there is also the Hermitage Hotel, the Renaissance Hotel, a Courtyard Hotel and the Hilton. These are downtown and all are close to TPAC, the Hilton is located the farthest away but is probably the newest.

Jumping on this thread, what about restaurants in the area? Can anyone suggest something good to grab to eat in the area before the show?
