Hotels near Seaworld

We're thinking about going to Seaworld(1-2 days) before Disney and thought we would stay near seaworld. Do any of you DISers have any recommendations? Thanks.

We stayed at Marriott's Residence Inn nr Sea World last October and were very impressed with it.

Paid around £45 ($90) per night for a double queen suite which was very LARGE Nice and clean, comfortable beds and fully kitted out kitchen, including a full sized fridge freezer, microwave and couple of cooking rings, cutlery, glasses, crockery etc.

The pool was nice, good size, and they serve free buffet breakfasts (hot and cold).

It's in a nice location just off the southern end of IDrive, to very easy to get everywhere. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Had a friend stay at the Renaissance, which is just across the street from SeaWorld, and she loved it (I think she posted about it here, will have to try and dig it up)...

stayed at the Renaissance and Hilton Grand Vacation Club - can recommend both of them.

i stood at the Rosen Centre for a pageant and it was literally within walking distance to seaworld. it is a really beautiful hotel too! there are a few nice resturants inside and it is close to a lot of other orlando attractions.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Sea World. It was a nice place and the restaurant does a breakfast buffet and also serves regular lunch and dinner and will pack the lunch/dinner to go if you want to take it to your room. Has a microwave and fridge in the room which came in handy since I was sick at the time. The staff both at the front desk and the restaurant were very nice and fun to talk to.

The Hyatt Place on International Drive not far from Seaworld is turning up on Priceline all the time for $30/night bid. It is very nice (identical to all of the Hyatt Places if you like them)....that is an amazing price for them.

If you bid $30/night for a 2.5* hotel in the Universal Seaworld zone it is most likely what you will get.
