Hotels near DTD

Are there non-disney hotels near DTD? I read a post and it lead me to believe there may be....but I wasn't sure.

If so....has anyone stayed in any of them?

Traveling with a party of five...so offsite maybe be a better option for me...just trying to get closer to the "disney magic" of it all.

Downtown Disney hotels. Com. There are also pretty much every chain of hotels within a mile or 2

There are 6 or 7 hotels in the Downtown Disney area: Hilton, Holiday Inn, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, Buena Vista Palace, Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort, Doubletree Suites and B Resort (formerly Royal Plaza) that will be opening soon.

The Hilton has a room "Deluxe Junior Suite" which is HUGE!!! And sleeps 6 (if you don't mind sharing a bed). It's right across the street from DTD and the only off site hotel that offers EMH in the parks. We stayed there in December and LOVED it!

Consider renting a home with a private pool. Much more affordable and very nice accommodations for less than most hotels. Disneyvillarentalonline.com

Of these hotels which comes with the higjest recommendation?I am going to a conference 2/6- 2/9. My top priority is cleanliness.Hope I am not highjacking this post, just need suggestions and some help,all is appreciated!

The Hilton is more of a business class hotel we saw many people walking around in suits, dresses, high heels it's also the most expensive I believe with higher resort/ parking fees.

If you want close to WDW, you might want to consider Bonnet Creek.

If you don't want to depend on a car/taxi/shuttle I would strongly reccomend to stay in the DTD area. Then you can not only walk to DTD, but also to a number of cheaper off-site dining locations. Also, the hotels have pretty good shuttles to the park, and the area generally feels very safe and clean.

Absolutely!

I have stayed at the Hilton which I found comfortable and extremely accessible to the DTD Marketplace - it is IMO the nearest hotel property to DTD.
