Yet another question!

The flights from Belfast to CDG airport, Paris, arrive at 9.30 pm. I thought we should just get a airport hotel that night and then set off the next morning to DLP. Has anyone any hotel recommendations for the airport?

Are the hotels strict about the number of children staying in the room?

How many kids are you taking?

I think the hotels very close to the airport seem to be twin/double rooms with max occupancy of 2 people. Also because they are close they bump the price up.

Where are you staying for the rest of your holiday?

I have booked an offsite hotel about 6 km from Disney for the night before we go (I'm driving down a day early to make the most of the Hotel New York's free park tickets on check in day). It's a Best Western quad room 2 adults/2 kids for £51 bed and breakfast.

Hi Sav and thanks for your input.
We're a family of 5 so 3 children are travelling. I have seen a Novotel on Expedia that will accommodate all of us.

I thought we'd be better staying near the airport that 1st night, to make it as easy as possible for the children. My 6 yo is autistic and has never been on a holiday like this before, so I want to make all go as smoothly as possible.

For the rest of the trip, I will probably stay in a family room at the Newport Bay hotel.

If the children are over the age of 3 then I suspect that the official position of most hotels will be a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children to a room, since 4 is the maximum occupancy for most rooms for fire and insurance purposes.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn and can recommend it. But there is an Ibis right at Terminal 3 which is sometimes cheaper than the Holiday Inn! And I know that there is also an Express Holiday Inn! You can book these 2 hotels via the Holiday Inn homepage! And they have a free shuttle! :thumbsup2

Did you mention which terminal you are flying into - for some reason I'm assuming you're flying into T3. If so, the Hotel Ibis would be worth checking out, as it's only about a 300 yard walk from the terminal - no faffing around with taxis or shuttle buses.

There is a little bit of information about this hotel here. Very basic, but it might do for one night.

sharon,i'm flying out from belfast too and have booked a private shuttle company to take us to the resort. It only costs €70-80 and the journey takes about 45 mins. I had thought about a hotel at the airport for the night because i have a toddler and it will be our first flight with her but at least when we get up the next morning we're at the resort and ready to explore.
