We're planning on staying in St. Augustine for 2 nights on the way down to WDW, any recommendations?

TIA!

How funny! Thank you so much AspiringCindy!!!!

My DH is lol because I've been searching for hours and then I said to him, wait, I'll just ask on the Dis, watch someone will answer in minutes.....and you did!

The DIS rocks!::yes::

While I have never stayed in ST Augustine I did go w/my son on his class trip sand you will love it very historical and beautiful!

I would recommend Casa Monica. We stayed there last year its a beautiful hotel.

This past summer we stayed at the Holiday Inn on 1302 North Ponce de Leon blvd. It was very nice and reasonable. If you get a chance, visit the Mission de Nombre de Dios. MY FIL helped build the big cross they have there conmemorating the landing of the Spanish. The grounds are beautiful too. We loved St. Augustine and talk of retiring there some day. Of course, with this huge blizzard we are getting, some day may be real soon!

DO NOT stay the Beachfront on A1A... not worth the money

Beachfront Resort that is... sorry so vague

you won't regret it!;)

The Casa Monica is absolutely beautiful. You need to try the Oasis restaurant over in the beach area - a bit seedy looking, but great food. Also, Saltwater Cowboy's is one of our favorite restaurants.
