Driving down to Disney's Hilton Head resort in April.
I went on trip advisor, but every hotel has a couple of bad reviews, and of course those are the ones I can;t help but focus on.

Want to stop overnight in Florence, SC or thereabouts, can be 1/2 an hour or so further north or 30-45 minutes further south.
Looking for a clean, comfortable, interior corridor place to stay with continental breakfast. Under $100.
Any ideas?

We drive to HH every year, but last year we stopped at Mt Vernon for a few hours on the way down so didn't get all the way to Florence for our overnight stop, and I can't recall where we stayed the previous year.

Thanks for nay help!

We've stayed at the Springhill Suites which was nice and had a nice free breakfast. Also Suburban Extended Stay, which was fine and a LOT cheaper. There's a chicken restaurant attached, and there's a lounge off the lobby. There's no free breakfast there, but we'd rather just be on the road anyway in the morning. We've found that we're really tired of crappy coffee, bagels and yogurt. We'd rather drive for an hour, then get some crappy fast food breakfast, LOL :rotfl:

For us, Florence is about 1/2 way so we only use it if we leave later in the day from home. We'd rather drive further to the end of SC, like Walterboro.

Comfort Suites, Florence SC...exit 164 off I-95. Its a fairly new property with very clean and comfortable rooms. Don't let the fact that its by a railroad track scare you...I've stayed there twice and only heard one train (before we went to bed).

Free breakfast in the morning. There's a Fatz Cafe right nearby; great place for dinner.

On our drive down in Jan. We stopped at the Residence Inn in Florence, it was very nice, clean, large rooms, and a pretty good breakfast too.

Hanpton Inn & Suites I95 exit 160A First light make right hotel is on left. Check out Redbone Alley for dinner, 5 min down Rt20 next to WinnDixie. fun place for family. Have done this stop many times from NJ.
