Anyone know if the hotels have the dive-in movies during March? Just wondering if this is done during the summer only? Thanks for any info:)

As far as i know they are all year round. I was there this past Nov. & Dec. and they had them playing. Last year while I was there in January in 38º weather they had them playing! There were a few eskimos in the pool watching!

Oh wow thats surprising! Wouldnt catch me in the pool with those cold temps either! Thanks for letting me know and hopefully we'll have some warmer weather!

What are dive-in movies? Are they new releases? When are they? So many questions when trying a new resort area.

The movie they played when we were there was This Is Spinal Tap, which I thought was a little risque for some families with little ones. But the movie did fit in perfectly with the resorts theming.

No11's Mom,

Thanks for the additional info! Do you know if they are only at HR?
I guess its aimed at an older crowd if they showed spinal tap:eek: The movie would have gone right over my kids heads!

I don't know if they are shown only at HRH or not. RPH wasn't open when we were there and we never made it over to PB. I remember that it was shown on Friday night.

They showed Spiderman in November at Royal Pacific.

When are you going Jessica? I am going March 21st, I can check out the scheduled movies for you.

Thanks Cheryl!! But....I'll be there 03/13 . Where are you staying?

I'll be at the Hampton Inn Eastgate (going to WDW) March 18-21 and Royal Pacific Club March 21-24.
Do we overlap at all?

Oh man, we leave on the 18th :( There's always next time!

We stayed ar the RPR last Sept and our movie was Shrek. Sure the kids had already seen but still it was fun hanging out in the pool watching it.

We were there two weeks ago and there was a movie on Friday night. It was Austin Powers.
