I am asking lots of q's in preparation for our trip, my daughter has milk and soya intolerances so is very limited on what she can eat and drink and is on a special formula that is made up like baby milk. Are hotels willing to provide facilities to allow you to prepare things like these, like providing a kettle to make it up, what about storing it in a fridge? If push comes to shove, I am happy to make it up in a morning and transfer it to a flask so she can drink it throughout the day.

Also what about the hotel safes, the one in the sequoia is in reception right, do you recommend I use this, what should I put in there and keep with me? Should I keep passports with me or in the safe, should I keep some money with me and some in the safe, what about credit cards etc etc.

Can you get access to the things you put in the safe whenever you wish? and possibly the dumbest question of alll, are the safes safe? Would you recommend taking along your own cash box and locking your own things up before putting them in the safe?

Also what kind of plug adaptor would I need for over there?

I can't answer about the allergies, I do know that you can hire a kettle from reception.

You can use the Safe in reception although I never have, I have always locked my valuables in my case and it has never been a problem. Its entirely up to you.

You just need a 2 pin european adapter plug to use over there as they are the same voltage as we are.

I think it would be worth phoning DLP to explain your situation. I'm sure the CMs will do their utmost to ensure that your DD can have the most enjoyable experience :)

i did want to just lock my things away in the suitcase, wasnt sue if that was clever or not though

DLP cater for all dietary needs at all their restaurants and bars. For specific requirements thought you do need to contact them in advance.

I emailed them to ask what they offered as I have a lovely new gluten intolerance to make life fun. They emailed me back a PDF document which gave some helpful tips. They do an allergy free menu in many of their restaurants and someone here told me that if you mention you need the allergy free breakfast they can supply that too. I'm not going until next year myself but I didn't want to get myself all excited planning a trip that I couldn't go on because of the food.

I always take my own little travel kettle with me in any event. I like to sit in bed with a hot choccy after a hard day having fun
